I am thrilled to welcome you to the inaugural post of Tech Blueprint, a space where we will try to shed light on the interplay between technology, policy, economy, and society. Before we start this journey together, let me take a moment to share a bit about who I am and why I am so passionate about this endeavor.

My name is Piotr Trabinski, and my journey in tech began early, fueled by a childhood fascination with electronics, television, and video games. Despite an unconventional path through Law School and the School of Engineering, I got into technology-related business cases early in my career, specifically focusing on cybersecurity and financial technology (FinTech). Transitioning from the financial sector to a key international organization specializing in macro policies, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of technology in the global economy, recognizing its profound impact on economic development. However, this awareness also brought to light the complex challenges tied to technology, including cybersecurity threats, privacy concerns, and its influence on economic stability. In every innovation promising efficiency and intelligence, there are unnoticed perils demanding our attention. These challenges, are important because they directly affect our lives and our future.
Why “Tech Blueprint”?
The genesis of Tech Blueprint stems from a year-long contemplation, a period during which I grappled with the realization that while technology encourages us to move forward, it also poses challenges we cannot afford to ignore. I hope this publication will help readers to better understend the interplay of technology with policy, economy, and society. However, this requires a more nuanced exploration, and that’s exatcly what Tech Blueprint wants to achieve. Rather than uniformly covering all aspects of existing technologies, Tech Blueprint will offer a mix of general considerations and deep dives into specific areas like cybersecurity, FinTech, and AI.
"Why now?" you may ask. The answer lies in the numerous inquiries from friends seeking guidance on the trajectory of our technology-driven world. It became clear to me that the need for a space where we can collectively discuss this landscape was essential. Hence, Tech Blueprint was born, with the goal of fostering understanding and fostering dialogue.
What Tech Blueprint is about?
Tech Blueprint is intended to be your compass in understanding the influence of technology on policy, economy, and society. Given that technology, one of the key forces shaping our world, often operates unquestioned, I want to allow readers to see a bigger picture… or in other words “the good, the bad, and the ugly”. Tech Blueprint will have a special focus on such areas as cybersecurity, FinTech, and AI, as these domains not only undeprin the global digital transformation efforts, but also hold key to ensuring secure integration of technology for economic resilience, financial innovation, and human-centric society.

What can you expect from Tech Blueprint? Initially, I'll be sharing posts every Friday, diving into topics that lie at the crossroads of technology and its impact on our world. From the latest advancements to the ethical dilemmas they pose, we'll try to explore it all. As the community grows, I aspire to increase the frequency of our conversations, providing you with more regular content on recent tech developments and with more insights and perspectives.
